What the law says
Regulation 6 of the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003 (PECR) requires consent before storing information on your device, with exceptions. Since 5 February 2026 the Data (Use and Access) Act 2025 has widened those exceptions so that first-party statistical cookies and cookies that remember how a site looks for you no longer need consent, provided the information stays with the site operator and you can opt out. The maximum fine for breaking PECR is now the same as under the UK GDPR.
What this site does
Nothing that needs any of that. The site is built to work without cookies. The contact form remembers nothing between visits. If a future feature needs a cookie to work, for example a customer login, it will be strictly necessary for that purpose and this page will say so. If we ever add first-party statistics under the 2026 exemption, this page will say what is collected and how to opt out.
Third parties
Page fonts are loaded from Google Fonts. Google receives the technical request for the font file, as for any file a page loads, and sets no cookie in doing so.
